Faceless Goddess: Jim Atwell

Faceless Goddess

Faceless Goddess of the night that lives behind the veil

What coy reserve you have, will Love of life and living ever prevail.

I know what you look like, I know how you feel.

For I live in your mirror and see you every day.

Detach yourself from this obsession with formlessness

Why must I live apart from you?

I am your heart and you are my soul.

I am you, formlessness attracted to form.

Your reflection is alive and I want to play.

Can the sun ever catch its shadow?

Or shall the shadow always watch the reflection of the sun?

Much Love

Jim Atwell

  1. “If formless meditation is difficult, then think of my form just as you see it here. With such meditation, the difference between subject and object is lost and the mind dissolves in unity.” – Sri Sathya Sai Baba
