Path to Realization Leaves No Trace: By Dr. Harsh K. Luthar
When Paul Brunton asked Sri Ramana about when Sahaj Samadhi should be practiced, the sage said and I paraphrase….”right from the beginning….that which is the practice of the Sadhaka is the state of the Siddha.”
”Realization will be forced upon you in spite of yourself…”… ha ha…beautiful, beautiful.
I just need to stop being an obstacle to mySELF!!! 🙂

Yes, that is what Sri Ramana said. No need to judge oneself. One never knows how close Realization is!

‘Awareness abiding in Itself’ Damn! If i knew the trick?
The rigidity of which you speak and how to avoid it is a pattern requiring serious study. Thank you!

If “realisation is forced upon you in spite of yourself” doesn’t that imply that “sincerity of an aspirants effort” is a side effect or indicator of grace rather than a cause of grace?

Sincerity is neither effect or cause; this is a kind of mechanical, superstition like approach.Grace is only a compassionate answer to our longing. But simply longing is not enough, the honesty of our wish, the sincere despair in our search for Truth and mainly, the gratuity of our wish. The only ‘selfish’ pray is to be there, in our home. Usually, the human prayers are not entirely honest, though people are not aware of that. It is God that judges and answers.
