Let us go Home together.
Wait for me on this light beam path that You so gently lend me a hand to embark.
Wait for me if I foible and fumble for I have traveled this too long in the past. And wandered away for too long.
Wait for me as You kindly look on and and I will find my way to Thee
Deny me not but suffer my devotion as You patiently take my hand when I reach out for Thee
Deny me not but suffer my longing as I anxiously reach out for Thee (my eyes are yet closed so I don’t see how close you are to me.)
Deny me not but suffer my devotion as you gently wake me from a bad dream.
You whisper in my ear the eternal song, strains of which come back to me as if from a distant memory. The notes heard before resonate with me like an old lullaby the Mother sang while we drifted in and out of sleep.
Deny me not but love my adulation as I look with wonder filled eyes and laugh in childlike glee for like a child looking in the mirror for the first time and realizing that this is me.
Wait for me Beloved, masquerading as stranger.
Wait for me just a little bit more for I’ll stand and find my way to Thee,

it has the serenity of a dove, the sheen of a pearl and the depth of skies. at the same time under the surface lingers a longing. a longing for that unknown unsaid. may the groping in darkness end with anillumination that never ends.

Shall I take your hand or take your heart? I choose not to take either but devour you with Love and adoration. You are becoming the mists of Love on the sea of my heart. ~ jim atwell
